As a licensed Investment Advisor Representative, Ms. Fischer brings decades of experience to serving Cutler’s clients.
I was born and raised in Arcadia, Iowa just after Christmas. Growing up in the Midwest taught me about hard work, dedication and good Midwest character. Integrity has served me well in dealing with clients and prospects. After graduation, while working at US National Bank in Omaha, I was looking for a little more adventure. Three of my girlfriends and I packed our cars full of our worldly possessions and drove straight to Newport Beach, California. I registered to vote and soon called Southern California home. I fell in love with the sun, the beach, and my husband. I worked for Bank of Newport for 5 years working my way up to Trust Officer before being lured away by the opportunity to work with Cutler & Company. One interview and I knew we were a great fit. That was 1983. After working with the team for a few months I knew Cutler was the place to take my career. When Cutler moved from California to Oregon in 1984, my family moved too. All these years later, I am still here doing what I love to do, working with our clients and helping them reach their investment goals. Having four sisters, I especially enjoy working with women who want a better understanding of investments.
I previously served as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, before moving to my current position as Director of Client Relations. I thoroughly enjoy helping clients with investment allocations and acting as a guide through the process of defining their investment needs.
The Rogue Valley is a fantastic community. Our firm encourages all of us to serve our communities where our skills are best suited. I have served as a Board Member of our local Chamber of Commerce (the largest in Oregon). I am currently a Board Member at Pacific Retirement Services and a past Board Member at Kids Unlimited Academy (a charter elementary school focused on economically disadvantaged youth), and The University Club and the University Club Foundation. I remain active in the Medford Rogue Rotary, and have served as a past Board Member of the Medford Rogue Rotary Foundation (providing scholarships to deserving High School Seniors), and past Rotary President (Medford Rogue Rotary). I have also served as a Board Member of the local Boy Scout Council (Crater Lake Council). My two sons are grown, but as they grew up I developed a love for sports and the South Medford Panthers. Go Panthers!
